Welcome to Lara in the Middle

Join me, a fully paid up member of the Sandwich Generation, as I find out if there's life after early retirement. 

I'll be getting to grips with middle age, renovating an 1820's chapel, and the trials and tribulations of having adult children and dependent parents. There will be travel, photography, and a lot of renovation as we redesign our home, hopefully with some laughs long the way.
